Brief Bio of Commissioner David Nya Dolo
Commissioner David Nya Dolo is a dedicated Human Rights practitioner with over ten (10) years of experience in the human rights and protection field at both national and International levels, with statutory responsibility for Complaint, Investigation and Monitoring (DCIM) at the Independent National Commission on Human Rights (INCHR). He has extensive experience in monitoring and reporting on Human Rights violations and in conducting human rights capacity-building training for both civil society and criminal justice actors, strengthening their ability to uphold human rights standards. He is driven by a commitment to gender equality, the rule of Law, and institutional accountability. He holds a Master's Degree in History; this academic foundation informs his understanding of systemic issues and the historical context of human rights struggles.
